    Nighthawks freshman Khori Jones (Hamilton, N.J.) broke a pair of program records in the Long Jump and Triple Jump, taking first place in both events on Saturday morning at the Mount Holyoke Spring Fling Invitational.
  • Horner Strong on Track, Smith in Field at Corsairs Invitational

    Nighthawks sophomore Jarrod Smith (Watertown, N.Y.) took fifth place in the men's triple jump while freshman Casey Horner (Butler, N.J.) took home 12th place in the 400 meters in the Nighthawks second outdoor event of the season; the UMass Dartmouth Corsairs Invitational.

    Nighthawks freshman Khori Jones (Hamilton, N.J.) earned first place in the Women's Triple Jump, leaping a personal best 10.98 meters at the Gordon Kelly Invite hosted by MIT on Saturday morning in the Nighthawks final indoor meet of the season.

    Nighthawks freshman Khori Jones (Hamilton, N.J.) set a number of personal records, including a PR in the triple jump at 10.8 meters, en route to a second place finish in the triple jump at the Wheaton Invitational.
  • Nighthawks T&F Head for Weekend at Wheaton

    In their third all-time meet in program history, the Nighthawks travel to Wheaton (Mass.) College on Saturday afternoon to continue their indoor season. Newbury has shown significant improvement from the first meet to the second, finishing in the top-10 in multiple categories in track and field with the best finish coming on a high jump performance; a fourth place finish.

    Nighthawks freshman Khori Jones (Hamilton, N.J.) and sophomore Jarrod Smith (Watertown, N.Y.) collected a fourth place and fifth place finish, respectively, in the high jump events, collecting the only points for Newbury on Saturday afternoon at the Reggie Poyau Invitational, hosted by Brandeis University.

    The 2017 Indoor Track and Field team will have to wait one more week for the Nighthawks to return as it was announced today that the Roxbury Community College Tiger All-Comers Meet has been postponed and moved to Jan. 10.
  • Nighthawks Compete in First Indoor Track & Field Events in Program History

    Nighthawks sophomore Karra Douglas (Glenmont, N.Y.) had a strong day for the Nighthawks women on the track, while freshman Khori Jones (Hamilton, N.J.) showed her talents in the field in the Nighthawks. For the Nighthawks men, freshman Ben Pierre (Somerville, Mass.) impressed in the 60 meter dash, finishing with the 21st best time and missing finals qualification by 0.17 seconds. Classmate Brian Robinson (Groton, Conn.) finished 15th in the shot put with a throw of 12.54 meters in the Nighthawks inaugural Indoor Track and Field meet in the 5th annual UMass Boston Indoor Open.

    The Newbury Nighthawks set out on the inaugural season of Indoor Track & Field on Saturday in the 5th Annual UMass Boston Indoor Open in a return to first year head coach Henry Morales' alma mater, where Morales holds three indoor records in program history, including the 200 meter and 300 meter dash.
