MARSHFIELD, Mass. - Nighthawks sophomore Jaymesha Sanders (West Haven, Conn.) had one of her best weekly performances of the season, leading to her being named the New England Collegiate Conference Player of the Week, for the week ending on February 10.
In three NECC games this week, the Nighthawks finished 2-1. The highlight of the week for Sanders was her 38-point performance in a 79-60 victory over Elms. On the week, Sanders posted three consecutive double-doubles, averaging 24.3 points, 13.0 rebounds and 2.0 steals per game.
