Langston's Three-Game Stretch Earns NECC Player of the Week Honors

ATTLEBORO, Mass. - Nighthawks senior Jeduan Langston (Roxbury, Mass.) had one of his best weeks as a member of the Men's Basketball team and has been recognized as the New England Collegiate Conference Player of the Week, for the week ending Jan. 21, as announced by the NECC Offices this morning. 

Langston averaged a double-double in a career week in which he scored 29.7 points per game while pulling down 10.3 rebounds. He also made an impact defensively, averaging 4.0 steals per game. In a triple-overtime thriller against Becker, Langston dropped 36 points and pulled down 15 boards, while also dishing out eight assists and collecting five steals. He followed that performance with a 34-point, eight rebound game in a 97-79 win over Wheelock.

For the season, Langston is averaging a career-high and NECC-best 23.8 PPG and is third in the conference in total rebounding, averaging 9.3 rebounds per game. 

The Nighthawks have three games on the schedule for this week, starting Monday at home against Vermont Tech, followed by another home bout on Wednesday against Southern Vermont, and finally a road battle at Mitchell on Saturday.
