ATTLEBORO, Mass. - A pair of Nighthawks seniors, Ethan Forrest (East Bridgewater, Mass.) and Ian Hruniak (Lutz, Fla.) finish their career on the All-Conference First Team as announced by the New England Collegiate Conference Office on Tuesday afternoon.

Junior Jim McGrorry (Oakhurst, N.J.) was voted to the All-Sportsmanship Team as voted by the member schools of the NECC.

Forrest, a four-year star for the Nighthawks, had arguably his best season to finish his career leading the league in wins, complete games, shutouts, and inning pitched. Forrest was second in strikeouts in the conference with 38 while holding batters to a .192 average in six NECC starts.

Forrest finishes his career as one of the best pitchers in Nighthawks history, finishing with a 22-10 record with a 2.92 career ERA. In total, Forrest retires with at least 13 different program records to his name.

Hruniak, the Nighthawks all-time leader in games played and at-bats, received the First-Team nod following a season with a .404 average in the conference, with 21 hits. Defensively, Hruniak committed just two errors, finishing with a .953 fielding percentage.

Hruniak finishes his career with 143 hits; fifth-most in program history and his 103 runs scored makes him the first player in program history to score at least 100 runs.

For McGrorry, he appeared in eight NECC games for the Nighthawks finishing fourth in innings pitched with 39 while allowing batters to hit .279. McGrorry finished the conference season with a perfect fielding percentage finishing 37-for-37 in all opportunities.
