Nighthawk Student-Athletes Elected to Multiple Student Government Positions in Thursday Election

BROOKLINE, Mass. - Nine Newbury College student-athletes have been elected or re-elected to Student Government Association positions on Thursday afternoon, following the announcement of final results earlier this afternoon.

Nighthawks sophomore men's soccer player Dylan Foran was elected President of SGA. His vice presidents include fellow men's soccer player, freshman Jordan Robertson and women's basketball sophomore Meaghan Irving. Robertson will serve as VP of Academic Initiatives while Irving was elected VP of Student Life.

Senate At-Large representatives include men's soccer sophomore Alex Strafer and a pair of Nighthawk baseball freshmen; Ron Zabala and Leo Frisella.

Men's volleyball junior Cesar Cruz was elected as an Executive Class Senator. 

The final two representatives are men's soccer sophomore Casey Cisero and men's basketball freshman Cameron Deiley. Cisero was elected the Athlete Representative while Deiley will serve as the Resident Representative.

The nine Nighthawk student-athletes will begin their SGA positions for the 2018-2019 Academic Year.
