Pre-Season Camp Begins Wednesday, August 26, 2009

The Newbury College pre-season orientation and luncheon will be held on Wednesday, August 26, 2009 beginning at 12:00 PM in the Student Center Auditorium.  The orientation marks the start of an exciting 2009 Nighthawk athletic season.  All fall athletes in the sports of men and women's soccer,  men and women's cross country,  women's volleyball, and women's tennis are required to attend.

Schedule for the day is as follows:

12:00-12:45: Check in, lunch and student-athlete head shots
12:45-1:30: Orientation meeting
1:30-1:45: Coaches' meetings by team
1:45-2:15: Housing contract signed and keys distributed.
2:30:  Student-Athletes are released to their families for move in.

Thursday,  August 27 - Breakfast at 7:00
Double sessions begin

Athletes should have returned their Intercollegiate Packet, which included their reservation form, in advance as it was due August 1, 2009.  All paperwork and requirements need to be completed before a student can attend camp.
