Newbury Women's Tennis Completes Best Season in Program History
The Newbury College Women's Tennis program finished the fall of 2008 with its best season on record. The Nighthawks recorded an overall record of 5-9 (2-3 NECC) and finished 3rd in the NECC Championship match.

The Hawks of Becker College came away with a 9-0 conference win over the Newbury College Nighthawks today in Chestnut Hill, MA. With the loss, Newbury dropped to 5-9 (2-3 NECC) while Becker improved to 8-4 (2-1 NECC).

The Newbury College Women's Tennis team beat visiting Mitchell College today in decisive fashion, winning 7-2 in Chestnut Hill, MA. The Nighthawks improve to 5-6 overall and 2-1 in the New England Collegiate Conference. The Mariners drop to an overall record of 1-6.

The Wildcats of Bay Path College came away with a the win in a lengthy Women's Tennis match today in Chestnut Hill, MA. The final score read 7-2 as Bay Path prevailed in several hard fought battles in both singles and doubles action. This was Newbury's first conference match since entering the New England Collegiate Conference - adding further excitement to the competitive play. With the loss, Newbury falls to 0-3 while Bay Path improves to 3-1.
