Sarah Briggs enters her fourth season as an assistant coach at Newbury College.  Briggs experienced a high level of success on the soccer field as a player earning All Region Team (Region 21) NJCAA at Massasoit Community College and North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Championship Team at Mount Ida College in 2000 and 2001, respectively.  She completed her playing career at University of Massachusetts - Dartmouth. 

A native of Taunton, MA Briggs graduated from the University of Massachusetts - Dartmouth in 2005 with a Bachelor of Arts in Women's Studies and Sociology.  In 2007 she received a Masters in Women in Politics & Public Policy from the University of Massachusetts - Boston.

Most recently, Briggs received a second Masters in Business Administration from Simmons College and also serves as assistant to the Nighthawk women's basketball team.
