2010:  Stracher completed a solid freshman campaign, appearing in and starting all 35 games. In 104 at-bats, she collected 30 hits, including seven doubles, one triple and one homerun, resulting in a .288 batting average and .404 slugging percentage.  Stracher drove in 14 runs and scored 19 runs for the Nighthawks.  She spent time behind the plate and in the outfield, maintaining a .948 fielding percentage. Stracher’s 2010 season was highlighted by a nomination for NECC Rookie of the Week for the week ending March 28th, 2010.  During the three games in that time span, she batted .461, going 6-for-13 with two doubles, a triple and a homerun.  She also scored three runs while driving in three more.

Before Newbury: Stracher played four years of Varsity softball, two years of field hockey, two years of volleyball and competed for three years with the indoor track program at Shepherd Hill.  She was also a member of the Junior Booster Club.

Personal: Enrolled in the Sports Management program, Brittany is the daughter of Jeff and Diana Stracher.
