Nunez Earns NECC Rookie of the Year Honors
CHICOPEE, MA - Lesley University men's runner Fran Cusick (Lexington, MA) and women's runner Noa Kupfer (Woodbridge, CT) earned top individual honors, as the Lynx finished first in both the men's 8-kilometer and women's 5-kilometer races in Saturday morning's New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) Championships at Chicopee State Park.

Nunez Earns Rookie Honors for Third Straight Week
Newbury College freshman Gabriel Nunez (Jersey City, N.J.) was awarded the NECC rookie honors for the third time. He clocked a 29:29 time over an 8K course finishing 5th at the Blazer Invitational. Newbury placed fifth with a 126 team score.

Cross Country Competes At Blazers Invitational
University of New England’s (UNE) Jess Partlow and Johnson & Wales’ Greg Redfield earned top individual honors with impressive performances, while UNE and Johnson & Wales claimed the women’s and men’s top team honors respectively in Saturday morning’s Blazers cross country invitational hosted by Elms College at Chicopee Memorial State Park.

Nunez Earns NECC Rookie Honors
Newbury College freshman Gabriel Nunez (Jersey City, N.J.) was awarded the NECC rookie honors for the second time. He clocked a 31:19 time over an 8K course finishing 4th at the DWC Eagle Invitational. Newbury placed fifth with an 80 team score.

Daniel Webster College Eagle Invitational
Nashua – The Daniel Webster College men’s and women’s cross country teams finished fourth and fifth, respectively at the annual Eagle Invitational held on the College campus Friday afternoon. Paced by individual champion John Hoffman’s (Bala Cynwyd, Penn.) time of 29:41 on the 8K course, Mitchell College took the men’s team victory with a low score of 46 points, while Suffolk took second (59), NHTI placed third (61), Daniel Webster took fourth (69) and Newbury College took fifth (80).

Nunez Tabbed NECC Rookie of the Week
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK – Newbury College freshman Gabriel Nunez (Jersey City, N.J.) garners NECC rookie honors. He clocked a 30:23 time over an 8K course at the Annual LT Travis J Fuller Invitational to a 16th place finish. The Nighthawks placed 7th with a 201 team score.

Gordon Earns NECC Weekly Honors
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK - Newbury College freshman Kevin Gordon (Stafford, Conn.) garners NECC rookie honors. He clocked a 29:37 time over a 5K to a 31st place finish in the "Early Bird" Co-Ed Open 5K.
