Michael Houlihan enters his first season with the men's volleyball program as an assistant under second year head coach Jaime Terenzi.  Houlihan comes to Newbury with an extensive coaching background most recently has the assistant women's volleyball coach at the University of Massachusetts Boston. Prior to UMass, Houlihan was the co-head coach of the Boy's Volleyball team at Midlakes High School and also the U14 coach of the All Long Island Boy's Volleyball team in Melville, NY. 

Houlihan attended Nazareth College of Rochester where he earned a B.S. in Business Administration with a specialization in Sports Administration and was also a four year member of the men's volleyball team.  Houlihan currently works and resides in the Boston area.
