Monteiro Named Head Tennis Coach

Jacquelina Monteiro enters her first season as head tennis coach for the Nighthawk men's and women's tennis teams.  Monteiro was a 2005 graduate of Newbury College where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications.  In addition to her coursework, she was a four-year member of the women's tennis team in addition to serving as manager to both the men's tennis and women's basketball teams.  Monteiro's playing experience has allowed her to develop a deep understanding of the strategy of competitive tennis in addition to the ability to teach a wide variety of styles.

Monteiro resides in Chelsea, MA and is currently pursuing a master's degree in Critical and Creative Thinking from the University of Massachusetts - Boston.
