Lesley Defeats Nighthawks

The Newbury College men's tennis team lost a well fought match to improved Lesley University today by the score of 8-1 in Cambridge, MA. This was the first men's tennis match between the two programs in this the charter year of the New England Collegiate Conference (NECC).

Lesley enjoyed overall fine play, but were challenged in each match by the Nighthawks, as each team member continues to improve and challenges their opponent.  The Lynx improve their record to 4-2, (3-1 NECC) and are in second place in the conference.

Newbury drops to 0-6, (0-3 NECC) despite their improvement in play.  The Nighthawks have a very busy upcoming week beginning Tuesday, as they travel to Wheelock College; match time at 4:30.
