Garrett Quinn enters his first season as head men’s golf coach at Newbury College and third season as assistant men’s basketball coach. Last year he helped guide the Nighthawks basketball program to their first  New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) semifinals appearance with an 8-6 conference record and 11-18 overall. On the links, he will be an asset to the men’s golf program. He is an avid golfer who grew up on the St. Mark’s Golf Course in Southborough, Mass. attending their camps.

Additionally, he enters his third year as a Communications Specialist with the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) overseeing and advising conference wide initiatives pertaining to GNAC student-athletes. He also assists with updating conference statistics and the website as well as All-Conference voting.

 Prior to the GNAC, he was a Payroll Manager at WEEI Sports Radio where he transmitted bi-weekly payroll for 400 employees and communicated with Entercom’s corporate headquarters and assisted win special financial projects.

Quinn earned his Bachelor of Arts in Communications from the University of New Hampshire in 2007 and is currently earning a Masters in Sports Leadership at Northeastern University. He currently resides in Cambridge, Mass.
