Golf Aims to Fly High in 2011

It was his lowest score of the season and despite the Nighthawks falling to the Anna Maria College Amcats, they still turned in their lowest team score of the season, of 383. At the conference Championship last fall, Rob Foley fired a career-low, 204 in the two-day tournament, posting consistent scores of 102 both days.

The Nighthawks will once again travel west for the sixth consecutive year to Chicopee, Mass. for the Elms College Invitational. Last year Scibelli finished in the top 15 in the six team field, of the first Blazer Invitational, firing around of an 85 and looks to improve on that score this season. Scibelli will be joined by senior Dan Harris, who will graduate in December with a degree in hotel administration, and fellow senior Rob Foley. Over the course of his four-year career, Harris has improved his golf game every year and will look to continue to improve in the upcoming season. They will be joined an influx of new top-flight golfers freshmen Cameron D'Agostino and Danny Lumb, who will also the baseball squad this spring, Stephen Peltier, Kevin Fitzpatrick, David Hart and Adam Navarro.
