Scibelli Earns medalist Honors at Blackstone

Newbury freshman Mike Scibelli (Monson, Mass.) fired a team-low 81 earn medalist honors against Anna Maria on Sunday afternoon. Scibelli's best round of the season helped the Nighthawks to their best team-score of the year, shooting 383 at Blackstone National Golf Club.

Anna Maria was consistent as all five scores were in the mid-80s. Sophomore Nick Ailes (Scituate, Mass.) shot a team-best 82 to lead to AMCATS to a 333 team-score. Sophomore Brian Conrad (Holden, Mass.) followed Ailes with an 83, while Jeremy Ross (Holden, Mass.) and Jake Kardash each shot matching 84's.

Junior Max Hrasky (Marian, Mass.) followed up Scibelli firing a 93 on the afternoon while fellow junior Rob Foley (Coventry, Conn.) turned in a scorecard of a 105. Newcomer Justin Kaufman carded a 106 in his first collegiate golf tournament.
 
The Nighthawks will return to action on Thursday at the Elms Invitational.
