Anna Maria Defeats Newbury at Golf Match

The AMCATS of Anna Maria College proved to be too much for the Newbury College Nighthawks in today's match at Brookline Golf Club at Putterham.  Anna Maria defeated Newbury with a score of 329 to the Nighthawks 364.

The AMCATS Nate McNamara (Leicester, MA) led all scores and finished in the top spot on the day with a score of 79.  McNamara's teammates Chris Kusz (Paxton, MA) and Jeremy Ross (Holden, MA) placed second and third with scores of 83 a piece respectively, completing the sweep of the top three spots for Anna Maria.

Despite the loss the Nighthawks were led by John McNeice (Canton, MA) with a score of 84, followed by teammate Matt Vitukevich (Saugus, MA) with a score of 90.

Up next for the Nighthawks is the NECC Championships, which will take place Oct 10^th and 11^th at Elms College.
