Watson Tabs NECC Weekly Honors

Freshman guard Eric Watson (New Rochelle, N.Y.) garnered New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) Rookie of the Week honors as he helped guide the Nighthawks to a 3-0 week.  The New York native registered 33 points, 11 assists and six steals in three games, including two conference victories over Wheelock and Mitchell. Against non-conference Eastern Nazarene, Watson notched 18 points while dishing out six assists as well as shooting 58% from the field.
