Bernard Earns NECC Honors

Sophomore forward Peterson Bernard (Boston, Mass./Madison Park) earned New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) Player of the Week honors for the past week. Bernard helped guide the Nighthawks to a 2-0 week with conference victories over Lesley University (75-60) and Mitchell College (78-64). After recording a career game against Mitchell, netting 28 points, Bernard averaged a double-double on the week with 21.5 points per game and 10.5 rebounds per game.  In two games, he shot 62% (16-for-26) from the field.
