Coach Sullivan says…“Mike is a very hard worker and has really committed to making himself a better pitcher for us. He has shown great versatility to be both a starter and a reliever for us and we will need him in both roles.”

As a freshman (2009):
Appeared in 11 games and started five… pitched 6.1 innings allowing four earned runs and striking out two against Mitchell College (4/25)… played for the Waves of the River Valley League in Dubuque, Iowa and finished second on the Waves pitching staff with 12 appearances on a team that finished second in the league with an overall record of 20-12.

Before Newbury:
A two time varsity baseball letter winner…also two time varsity football letter winner and competed in one year of varsity wrestling…member of Long Island Ducks AAU baseball program…member of the Leadership Club.

Personal:
Member of SAAC…Enrolled in the Sports Management program…son of Michael and Debbie Gulla
