Welcome to the new Newbury College athletic website at www.newburynighthawks.com.  The "Ask the Athletic Director" section is here for you and will be updated on a regular basis by Peter Centola, Director of Athletics.  This will be geared to your comments, questions and concerns regarding the athletic program at Newbury College.  His email is pcentola@newbury.edu.

Athletics play a significant role in the overall educational experience at Newbury College. Athletics seek to promote, stimulate, and encourage health and fitness through competitive opportunities.

Newbury College is a Division III member of the NCAA, ECAC, a charter member of the New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) and the North East Collegiate Volleyball Association.

Men's varsity teams include volleyball, basketball, cross country, soccer, golf, tennis, and baseball. Women's varsity teams include volleyball, basketball, cross country, soccer, tennis, and softball. In order to compete at the intercollegiate level, student athletes must be in good academic and social standing at the College and must meet all guidelines as established by Newbury College and the NCAA.

In addition to the intercollegiate sports offered, Newbury also sponsors a variety of recreational activities for men and women. These programs are student-oriented and supervised by the Department of Athletics.
